Earlier Life:
Danny Bayne, known to most of us as Danny B,
shot to fame in ITV talent search, 'Grease is the Word.'
The 19 year old from Kent was one of the favourites to win the
competition from the start. Not only did he have the right name
but he was dubbed a 'triple threat' by the panel of judges,
meaning that he is a talented actor, singer and dancer.
Danny studied dancing, singing and acting at
the prestigious Italia Conti stage school for 5 years. Danny
Bayne has competed in a number of dance competitions and has
performed in a wide range of productions.
Danny is said to love
Grease and believes
that the show, film and story are classic. When Danny heard
about the 'Grease is the Word' open auditions
for the part of Danny, he was there 'in a flash' and and was
thrilled when he was told he was through to boot camp.
Stage and Film Career:
Danny's many performances on ITV's
'Grease is the Word' have impressed viewers and helped
this young star to develop a large and diverse fan base. Danny
gave superb solo performances as well as spectacular duets with
both Susan and Michelle. During the fourth live show David Ian
said, 'as a commercial producer, I just love you. You would sell
a lot of tickets and you got an amazing performance out of
Michelle.'
