Following their hugely successful UK tour, French & Saunders, Britain's most celebrated female comedians, bring their sell-out live show to London's West End in October...
Since February, the infectious duo have entertained over 100,000 people up and down the country with their sidesplitting comedy and are now bringing the show to London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. The show, which opens for a four-week limited season on 15th October, features the best of French & Saunders' characters and sketches from the three decades that they have been making people laugh, together with brand new material written by the first ladies of comedy.
French And Saunders Still Alive Reviews:
After meeting at drama school in 1978 Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, the comedy duo produced a string of hit TV sketch shows and became household names in the process before going on to solo success in the likes of Absolutely Fabulous (Saunders) and The Vicar of Dibley (French). Their “greatest skits” show, French and Saunders - Still Alive, opened in Blackpool on 29 February 2008 and continues touring until 6 May. Directed by The Right Size’s Hamish McColl, it’s billed a “not a farewell tour but a Not Dead Yet Tour" and features various much-loved sketches from their TV shows as well as new material.
