[20 September] The musical The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas, currently playing at The Savoy Theatre, celebrates its 1,000 performance tonight!
The hit musical opened at the Peacock Theatre in 2001 then transferred for a limited run to the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Such was its success that another theatre was quickly sought and the Strand became its home. Its enduring appeal even meant that the theatre's refurbishments were postponed several times to accommodate the show. Now the Savoy Theatre in The Strand has become its new home since June this year.
As a special treat tonight (Tuesday 20 September), to mark the 1,000th performance, the current West End cast - Mark Adams as 'Dean Martin', Stephen Triffitt as 'Frank Sinatra' and David Hayes as 'Sammy Davis Jr' - will be joined in a grand finale by members from previous London and regional casts.
The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas, presented in the style of a concert with on stage orchestra, highlights the incredible talent of three world famous performers and celebrates some of the finest music and song ever recorded presenting a magical time that was truly larger than life. More details
